Russia's trade surplus in January-August 2018 increased by 70 percent on the same period in 2017 to $119.9 billion, the Central Bank of Russia (CBR) said in a statement.

The bank said the net capital outflow from Russia in January-August increased by 180 percent year on year to $26.5 billion.
