The vendors and dealers are doing brisk business as their clothes are selling like hot cakes. "Our business is going very well these days as the demand for winter clothes has risen, Dil Nawaz Khan a clothe-dealer at Cloth Market Hyderabad told APP here on Thursday.

He said crowds of people, both poor and rich can be seen bargaining with retailers in markets and weekly bazaars where besides woollies heaps of quilts, bed covers, blankets and rugs are up for sale.

"They not only select clothes which are best in quality but also try to get these at nominal rates," said Dil Nawaz Khan and some people even try to bargain at fixed price shops, he added.

But many customers complained that second-hand clothes were also becoming expensive. The prices of used clothes are spiraling every year, commented a lady Ms.Awais Leghari.

The price of new winter clothing is out of our reach, she complained.

Shop Owner Gul Sher Khan said that owing to low prices this time, people are feeling quite comfortable to buy clothes. Our winter stuff sale is on increase and we expect that in the days ahead this will escalate further, He said that almost twenty to fifty percent increase had so far been observed in sale of winter clothes and shoes in a market of latifabad number-8.

Different kinds of wears and accessories for coming chill are seen hanging in front of shops and weekly bazaar's stalls to attract the customers.

The purchasing power of a common man is going down in Pakistan due to rapidly growing inflation rate. It is very hard for the lower and even middle class families to purchase fresh and new items from the market.

So these peoples turned towards the Landa Bazar and fulfil their requirements and needs at cheaper prices as compared to other regular markets.

All types of things are available in Landa Bazar but most common and famous products are shoes and clothes.

In winter season, a sufficient number of people go more often towards Landa Bazars. It is due to big difference of prices between the new and used products.
