BELGRADE (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 17th January, 2019) Serbia wants to receive gas through the TurkStream pipeline, President Aleksandar Vucic said Thursday after talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"Serbia expects a lot from TurkStream and we have done much so far - we signed, completed many procedures...

We have received gas through Ukraine and Moldova until today, and now we want to receive gas through TurkStream, through the territory of Bulgaria, and therefore we are building a gas pipeline," Vucic said.

He said Serbia could not and would not overpay for liquefied natural gas (LNG), but would like to receive the best natural gas at the best price - Russian gas.
