Shipping Activity At Port Qasim 13 Aug 2018

Two ships, X-Press Suez and LNG Lusail Carrying Containers and LNG were allotted berths at Qasim International Container Terminal and Engro Elengy Terminal respectively on Sunday.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Aug, 2018 ) :Two ships, X-Press Suez and LNG Lusail Carrying Containers and LNG were allotted berths at Qasim International Container Terminal and Engro Elengy Terminal respectively on Sunday.

Meanwhile two more container ships MSC Al-Geciras and Sea span Oceania also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim on Monday morning.

A total of seven ships X-Press Suez, Maersk Jalan, African Buzzard, Navios Christine-B, RB Leah, Concerto and LNG Lusail are currently occupying PQA berths to load/offload Containers, Coal, Soya been, Palm oil and LNG respectively during last 24 Hours.

Cargo throughput during last 24 hours stood at 127,364 tonnes, comprising 100,574 tonnes import cargo and 26,790 tonnes inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 2,111 Containers (TEUs), (701 TEUs imports and 1,410 TEUs exports) Was handled at the Port.

Three ships, X-Press Suez, Maersk Jalan and Concerto sailed out to sea on Monday morning.

Three ships, Sea Span Oceania, MSC Al-Geciras and Chem Bull Dog carrying Containers and Palm oil are expected to take berths at QICT and LCT respectively on Monday, While more ships MSC Al-Gheciras and Sea span Oceania with containers are due to arrive at Port Qasim onTuesday.
