Shipping Activity At Port Qasim 18 Oct 2018

Three ships, MOL Grandeur, Maritime Kelly Anne and Shanghai carrying Containers, Palm Oil and Chemicals were arranged berthing at Qasim International Container Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and Liquid Cargo Terminal respectively on Wednesday.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2018 ) :Three ships, MOL Grandeur, Maritime Kelly Anne and Shanghai carrying Containers, Palm Oil and Chemicals were arranged berthing at Qasim International Container Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and Liquid Cargo Terminal respectively on Wednesday.
Meanwhile four more ships with Phosphoric Acid, Acetic Acid, Coal and Containers also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim on Wednesday morning.
A total of seven ships namely, MOL Grandeur, CSAV Tyndall, Maersk Hartford, SKY Light, Hercules Ocean, Shanghai and Maritime Kelly Anne are currently occupying PQA berths to load/offload Containers, Coal, Soya bean seeds, Chemicals and Palm oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 140,950 tonnes, comprising 94,647 tonnes import cargo and 46,303 tonnes export cargo Inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 3,757 Containers (TEUs), (1,320 TEUs Import and 2,437 TEUs exports) was handled during last 24 hours.
Two ships, MOL Grandeur and SKY Light sailed out to sea on Thursday morning, while four more ships CSAV Tyndall, Maersk Hartford, Shanghai and Maritime Kelly Anne are expected to sail on same day afternoon.
Three ships, GSL Tianjin, Maersk Bentonville and Chem Buldog carrying Containers and Chemicals are expected to take berths at QICT and EVTL respectively on Thursday, while two more container ships CMA CGM Blue Whale and CMA CGM Rigoletto are due to arrive at Port Qasim on Friday.
