Shipping Activity At Port Qasim 18 Sep 2018

Two ships, Seamax Darien and LMZ Titan carrying Containers and Coal were allotted berths at Qasim International Container Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal respectively on Monday.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Sep, 2018 ) :Two ships, Seamax Darien and LMZ Titan carrying Containers and Coal were allotted berths at Qasim International Container Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal respectively on Monday.

Meanwhile four more ships, Hermann-s, Sea Pioneer, Stanley Park and APL Miami with Coal, Coke, Chemicals and Containers also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during the same day.

A total five ships namely, Seamax Darien, LMZ Titan, Orion-III, Riva Wind and SC Dong Hai are currently occupying PQA berths to load/offload Containers, Coal, Soya Been Seeds, Steel Coil and Palm oil respectively.

Cargo throughput during last 24 hours stood at 126,871 tonnes, comprising 99,321 tonnes import cargo and 27,550 tonnes export cargo Inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 2,500 Containers (TEUs), (1,050 TEUs imports and 1,450 TEUs exports) was handled at the Port.

Three ships, Seamax Darien, Riva Wind and SC Dong Hai sailed out to sea on Tuesday morning.

Five ships, Maersk Chicago, APL Miami, Stanley Park, Sea Pioneer and NCC Shams carrying Containers, Chemicals, Steel Coil and Palm oil are expected to take berths at QICT, EVTL, MW-2 and LCT respectively on Tuesday, while another ship MOL Generosity with Containers is due to arrive at Port Qasim on Wednesday.
