Shipping Activity At Port Qasim 22 October 2018

Three ships, Engia Dina, Concerto and Al-Soor-II carrying Coal, Palm oil and Diesel oil were allotted berths at Multi-Purpose Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal and FOTCO Oil Terminal respectively on Sunday.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Oct, 2018 ) :Three ships, Engia Dina, Concerto and Al-Soor-II carrying Coal, Palm oil and Diesel oil were allotted berths at Multi-Purpose Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal and FOTCO Oil Terminal respectively on Sunday.
Meanwhile five more ships with Containers, Palm oil, Coal and Chemicals also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
A total of eight ships namely, CMA CGM Rigoletto, Engia Dina, Thetis, Hercules Ocean, Chemroad Echo, Gas Amozon, Concerto and Al-Soor-II are currently occupying PQA berths to load/offload Containers, Coal, Soya bean seeds, Chemicals, LPG, palm oil and Diesel oil respectively during last 24 hours.
Cargo throughput during last hours stood at 131,878 tonnes, comprising 112,365 tonnes import cargo and 19,513 tonnes export cargo inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 2,236 containers (TEUs), (1,209 TEUs Imports and 1,027 TEUs exprots) was handled during last 24 hours.
Three ships CMA CGM Rigoletto, Thetis and Chemroad Echo sailed out to sea on Monday morning, while another ship Al-Soor-II is expected to sail on same day afternoon.
Four ships, MSC Earth, Navig-8 Aronaldo, Centenaro Forza and Alpine Penelope carrying Containers, Chemicals, Coal and Diesel oil are expected to take berths at QICT, EVTL, PQEPT and FOTCO respectively on Monday, while three more ships MSC Sana, MSC Tomoko and Maersk Columbus are due to arrive at Port Qasim on Tuesday.
