Shipping Activity At Port Qasim 26 April 2019

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2019 ) :Four ships Diyala, GSL Tianjin, Hansa America and Indigo Flora carrying containers and Coal took berths at Qasim International Container Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal respectively on Thursday.
Meanwhile two more ships, CMA CGM Rigoletto and Serene Juniper scheduled to load/offload Containers and Cement also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
A total of nine ships, were occupied at PQA berths to load/offload Containers, Coal, Chemicals, Bitumen, Palm Kernel and Palm oil respectively. Out of them, three ships, Diyala, Reem-5 and Bunga Alamanda sailed out to sea on Friday morning and two more ships, GSL Tianjin and Hansa America are expected to sail on same day in the afternoon and night hours respectively.
A cargo volume of 118,809 tonnes, comprising 91,715 tonnes imports cargo and 27,094 tonnes export cargo, inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 3,355 Containers (TEUs), (1,929 TEUs imports and 1,426 TEUs exports), was handled at the port.
Three ships, CMA CGM Rigoletto, Bruno and Borno carrying Containers, Palm oil and LNG are expected to take berths at QICT, LCTand PGPCL respectively on Friday.
