PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Aug, 2024) Small Industries Development Board (SIDB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in collaboration with a welfare organization (Khidmatul Ebad launched a tree plantation drive at Small Industries Estate here on Thursday.

In this connection, a ceremony was held here with Managing Director (MD) SIDB Habibullah Arif as chief guest on the occasion while Deputy Managing Directors (DMDs) Engineer Zalufiqar Ali Sahibzada, Nauman Fayaz. Director (Finance) Muhammad Sher and members of social organization attended the ceremony at large.

The board has planned the plantation of 500 saplings in the Peshawar Industrial Estate and later the campaign will also be extended to the industrial estates of Charsadda, Mardan, Haripur, Havilian, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Kalabat, D.

I. Khan, Karak and Bannu.

Speaking on the occasion, MD SIDB Habibullah Arif said that tree planting is an ongoing charity in which everyone should actively participate.

He further said that if we do not show responsibility, the environmental pollution will continue to increase in the same way, so every Pakistani should play his role in eliminating environmental pollution.
