FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jan, 2018 ) :State Minister for Commerce and Textile Industry Hajji Muhammad Akram Ansari has said that society must contribute its productive role by helping the poor and undertaking maximum welfare projects from their own resources.

Inaugurating a water filtration plant at Government College for Women Karkhana Bazaar here Friday, he said Pakistan was ranked among top countries donating charity generously. He said this amount should be utilized prudently so that the sufferings of the poor could be minimized.

He appreciated the efforts of Silani Welfare who was providing free food to the poor and said that this noble gesture must be appreciated by all.
