State Bank Of Pakistan Mops Up Rs 62 Bln From Market

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Wednesday mopped up Rs 62 billion from the money market (Rs 61.75 billion for one day and Rs 250 million for two days) as repo sale through its open market operation.
According to a press release issued here, four quotes were received for one-day mop up and one for two days operation. All these were accepted.
The rate of return accepted is 8.45 percent per annum.
