State Bank of Pakistan mops up Rs 959.2 bn from market

State Bank of Pakistan on Friday mopped up Rs 959.2 billion (Rs 162.5 billion for 3 days and Rs 796.7 billion for 7 days) from money market as repo sale through its open market operation.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Nov, 2018 ) :State Bank of Pakistan on Friday mopped up Rs 959.2 billion (Rs 162.5 billion for 3 days and Rs 796.7 billion for 7 days) from money market as repo sale through its open market operation.

Seven quotes were received for three-day mop up and 11 quotes for seven days operation. All these accepted. The rate of return accepted is 8.45 percent per annum, said press release.
