Tokyo Shares Open Lower

TOKYO, Jan 6, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 06th Jan, 2017 ) - Tokyo shares opened lower Friday as a stronger Yen weighed on sentiment after Wall Street fell. The Nikkei index fell 0.68 percent or 133.22 points to 19,387.47 i the first minutes of trading. The broader Topix index of all first-section issues declined 0.85 percent, or 13.25 points, to 1,542.43.
