Tokyo shares open lower over strong yen

TOKYO, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Sep, 2016 ) - Tokyo shares opened lower on Wednesday as an uptick in the Yen spawned worries about exports. The benchmark Nikkei 225 index lost 1.10 percent, or 184.31 points to 16,499.62 in the first few minutes of trading. The Topix index of all first-section shares fell 1.06 percent, or 14.25 points, to 1,334.97.
