Tokyo stocks open higher

Tokyo, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th May, 2021 ) :Tokyo stocks opened higher on Monday extending gains on Wall Street as worries about inflation in the United States ease.

The benchmark Nikkei 225 index was up 0.67 percent or 188.20 points at 28,272.67 in early trade, while the broader Topix index gained 0.73 percent or 13.70 points to 1,897.12.
