Vegetables Prices Seen Slight Inclination

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Nov, 2017 ) :Vegetables and fruit prices was seen slight inclination in the city,as the prices of tomatoes has reached Rs. 104 from Rs 112 per kilogram and Ginger reaches Rs 192 from 195 per kilogram.
Islamabad Market Committee on Friday issued price list of vegetables and fruits in the markets of Federal Capital. According to a spokesman, there is a shortage of supply due to which prices of some vegetables were high, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super and Kohsar markets are as follows: Potato Rs 40/35 per Kg, Onion Rs 64/55, Garlic Dasi Rs 104/92, Garlic (Quetta) Rs 125/99, Lemon Rs 222/180, Lady Finger Rs 48/40, Pumpkin Rs 45/38, Brinjal Rs 45/38, Peas Rs 144/115, Farsh Bean Rs 80/70, Cucumber Rs 49/39, Capsicum Rs 145/115, Cauliflower Rs 48/40, Cabbage Rs 44/38, Bitter Gourd Rs 95/80, Green Zucchini Rs 65/55, Spinach Rs 22/17, Raddish Rs 19/15, Turnip Rs 33/25, Maroo Rs 40/30, Green Chillies Rs 102/88, Yam Rs 35/29, Carrot Rs 60/44, Saag Rs 23/18, Chicken Rs 125 and Eggs per dozen Rs135.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Golden Rs 125/99, Papaya Rs 125/95, Apple China Rs 220/180, Banana Pak Rs 75/60, Japanese Fruit Rs 100/70, Guava Rs 62/48, Grapes Sundar khani Rs 250/195, Pomegranate Rs 180/140 and Apple Kala kolu Rs 16/130.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform the authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any complaint against the shopkeepers.
