Venezuela to Sell Oil Products Solely for Cryptocurrency Starting 2019 - MAduro

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced on Thursday that from next year the country's oil products will be sold only for petro cryptocurrency.

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 06th December, 2018) Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced on Thursday that from next year the country's oil products will be sold only for petro cryptocurrency.

"I inform you that in 2019 all oil products of Venezuela will be sold for petro in a progressive manner in accordance with the existing schedule," Maduro said in a video address posted in his Twitter blog.

Maduro is currently on a visit to Moscow, where held a range of talks and signed a number of Venezuela-Russia agreements.
