Workers' remittances record $3 bn inflow in July 24

The overseas workers’ remittances recorded an inflow of US$3 billion during July 2024, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Friday said

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Aug, 2024) The overseas workers’ remittances recorded an inflow of US$3 billion during July 2024, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Friday said.

In terms of growth, during the month under review, remittances increased by 47.

6 percent on year on year basis.

Remittances inflows during July 2024 were mainly sourced from Saudi Arabia (US$761.1 million), United Arab Emirates (US$611.1 million), United Kingdom (US$443.5 million) and United States of America (US$300.1 million), SBP added.
