1462 Laptops Distributed Among Students

As many as 1462 laptop computers were distributed among talented students under 4th phase of E-Initiative programme of CM Shehbaz Sharif.
JHANG, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Feb, 2018 ) :As many as 1462 laptop computers were distributed among talented students under 4th phase of E-Initiative programme of CM Shehbaz Sharif. In this connection, an impressive ceremony of laptop distribution was held here on Tuesday in Government Post Graduate College.
Provincial ministers Syed Zaeem Qadri and Bilal Yasin were chief guests at the occasion. Deputy Commissioner Mudassar Riaz Malik, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Sajjad Ahmed Khan, Chairman district council Babar Khan Sial, Chairman Jhang MC Sh.
Nawaz Akram, Principal of the college and deputy director colleges were also present in the ceremony. Provincial Minister Bilal Yasin in his address said that CM Punjab Shehbaz Sharif had introduced merit in all sections of society and ended cheating and unfair means from examinations of different levels.
He said that thousands of deserving students were getting financial assistance under Educational Endowment Fund of Punjab Government.
Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri said, "Our students are talented and hardworking so they are showing good results in all examinations." Deputy Secretary Higher education Khalid Bashir congratulated students and their teachers for getting laptops.
He said that 115000 laptops worth Rs.7 billion had so far been distributed on merit under 4th phase of chief minister's scheme. Some students also spoke at the occasion and said that all credit went to CM Punjab for encouraging the top ranking students.
A large number of students and their parents also attended the ceremony while a smart police contingent presented salute to the students selected for the award of laptops. Later, Provincial Ministers Bilal Yasin and Zaeem Qadri distributed laptops among 1462 students.
