2.2mln Answer Sheets For SSC Exam In Printing Process

A total of 2.2 million answer sheets are in the printing process currently for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination 2019, which will commence in March next year.

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Nov, 2018 ) :A total of 2.2 million answer sheets are in the printing process currently for the Secondary school Certificate (SSC) Examination 2019, which will commence in March next year.

Chairman Board of Intermediate & Secondary education (BISE) Kastoora Jee Shad told APP on Friday that after assuming charge, he prioritised the administrative issues including printing of answer sheets for the SSC examination, salary and pensions of the staff, which had been pending owing to transfer of former commissioner Multan division, Irshad Nadeem Kiyani, who had been holding the charge as the board chairman.

He said that the post remained vacant for around 15 days, adding that the required answer sheets would be printed by February 15 next year for which he employed clerical staff for the process.

To a question, Kastoora replied that the board did not go for tenders for printing the sheets, as it was a time taking process and they were short of time.

To another question, the chairman said that around 1.1 million answer sheets for Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) would be printed later on because they had sufficient time for it as exams would begin in May next year.
