2nd Multan Literary Festival Formally Launched At The Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Here On Friday

After successful holding of festival in April last, the second Multan Literary Festival (MLF) was formally launched at the Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) here on Friday
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Feb, 2018 ) ::After successful holding of festival in April last, the second Multan Literary Festival (MLF) was formally launched at the Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) here on Friday.
Sharing the details, the organisers stated that the 2nd MLF would be organised on Feb 21-22 at different venues of Multan, including BZU, University of education and Multan Tea House. They said that this mega activity was being collaborated by the Punjab Higher Education Commission, National Book Foundation Pakistan, Radio Pakistan, Multan Tea House and Multan Arts Council, academy of Letters Islamabad, Multan Chamber of Commerce, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture, University of Education Multan campus and other leading literary organisations.
About the objectives of the festival, they said the activity would be carried out to attach youth with rich centuries old art, culture and literature of Multan, one of the oldest city of world.
They also highlighted various segments of the programmes which were appreciated by the participants who assured their cooperation in making MLF 2 a success. The participants of the launching ceremony also gave different suggestions in this regard.
They were also apprised that like the last year, the National Book Foundation in collaboration with national and regional publishers would arrange NBF Book Fair to promote book reading culture.
