3-day Faculty Training Workshop Begins At Sargodha University

A three-day faculty training workshop, titled 'Teaching Re-defined: Professional Growth' under the auspices of Human Resource Development Centre University of Sargodha, started here on Wednesday

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2024) A three-day faculty training workshop, titled 'Teaching Re-defined: Professional Growth' under the auspices of Human Resource Development Centre University of Sargodha, started here on Wednesday.

The workshop aims to enhance professional development of teachers by focusing on their capacity building,

decision-making skills, stress management, and the process of continuous learning to compete in the modern

educational world.

University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, Director of Human Resource Centre Khursheed Yousaf, renowned educationist Prof. Dr. Aneel Suleman, teaching trainer Prof. Dr. Junaid Tahir, and faculty attended the workshop.

Prof. Qaisar Abbas, addressing the inaugural session, emphasised importance of continuous professional development for teachers.

He said that the university wanted to equip teachers with necessary tools and techniques to enhance their teaching abilities and contribute to overall improvement of the education

system.

Following the welcome note, Khursheed Yousaf highlighted the importance of understanding the learning process

to design effective teaching strategies. This workshop will address these changes, preparing our educators to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment. He also said that the main objective of the workshop was to equip the faculty with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their respective fields.
