A large number of prominent universities and colleges of Karachi participated in 18 competitions organised during the Speed Mind Execution Competition (SMEC) 2018 by Aligarh Institute of Technology.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Oct, 2018 ) :A large number of prominent universities and colleges of Karachi participated in 18 competitions organised during the Speed Mind Execution Competition (SMEC) 2018 by Aligarh Institute of Technology.

The prize distribution ceremony of the competition was held at the Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET), here, said a statement on Friday.

Winners of the completions were awarded the cash prize of Rs 5000/-, while the runner-ups were given shields. Winner of Counter Strike received the cash prize of Rs 10,000/.

Addressing the occasion, Chancellor SSUET Jawaid Anwar said that technology has enhanced the pace of development and realizing its importance, Sir Syed University is focusing on technological advancement.

Member Provincial Assembly Sindh, Engr. Adil Askari and ChairmanComputer Science Dr. Noman Hasani also spoke on the occasion.
