Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Launches Transport Service To Facilitate Students

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) on Tuesday launched transport service to facilitate its student in their educational pursuits, mainly at its 49 regional offices across the country
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd April, 2019) Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) on Tuesday launched transport service to facilitate its student in their educational pursuits, mainly at its 49 regional offices across the country.This was part of a road-map empowering the regions to provide best possible services to the students, this was stated by the Vice Chancellor Professor Dr.
Zia-Ul-Qayyum while handing over key of a coaster to regional Campus, Bahawalpur.He announced that the similar facility will be provided to other regions. The regions are the back-bone of the University's distance learning system and they wanted to strengthen them, by giving maximum administrative and financial powers.
The regions, he said play the role of �watch and ward' in conducting examination, admission and delivery process.
The transport's facility will facilities them to do their job efficiently.The Vice Chancellor viewed that the proper transport arrangement is the basic need of the University's operating units and they are trying to meet it with the government's support.Earlier, Director Regional Services Dr.
Inam-Ul-Sheikh highlighted the facilities, being provided to the regional offices. He thanked the VC for reinforcing the regional services and focusing on students' betterment.
