Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) To Hold Int'l Moot On Education In Feb 2019

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will hold 4th International Conference on Research and Practices in Education (ICRPE)

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Nov, 2018 ) :Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will hold 4th International Conference on Research and Practices in Education (ICRPE).

A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting held here under the chairmanship of the Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood, says a press release on Monday.

The ICRPE will be held from Feb18 to 20, 2019 with the theme 'Social Impact of Research'.

In connection with the proposed moot, deans' forum on teacher education will be held on Feb18, 2019.

For the past three years, the University's Faculty of Education has been holding ICRPE to keep the researchers and teaching community well-informed about the new development and trends in the education sector.

The inaugural session of the conference is scheduled in the morning of Feb19, 2019.

The alumni re-union would be on the same day in the evening.

Five modes of presentations and talks will be held during the two days conference including oral presentation, posters presentation, roundtable discussions, panel presentations and projects.

The international presenters will be given a chance to present virtually if they cannot travel to Pakistan for any reason. As per the decision, the closing session will be held in the afternoon of Feb 20 at the main campus of AIOU.

Call for papers will be open in the first week of November 2018 for one month. The interested academia, faculty, scholars, researchers and practitioners from all over country are invited to share their intellectual and scholarly work and participate in this dynamic event.
