Anti-terror Drill Conducted At Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Campus

The law enforcement agencies conducted mock anti-terror drill at the campus of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) in the city, the police said.

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2018 ) :The law enforcement agencies conducted mock anti-terror drill at the campus of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) in the city, the police said.

A spokesman for Bahawalpur police said here that following the directives of Home Department, Government of Punjab, law enforcement agencies conducted mock anti-terror drill at AIOU campus in the city.

"The mock exercise was participated in by law enforcement agencies including the district police, elite force, dolphin force and others," he said.

The personnel of civil defense and the health department also joined the mock anti-terror exercises. The spokesman said that such exercises were being conducted to enhance capability of law enforcement personnel to handle any act of terrorism.
