Bahria University Organizes Career Expo 2019

Bahria University (BU) Islamabad Thursday organized Bi-annual Career Expo 2019 with an aim to bring the job seekers and employers under one roof and to guide candidates on various career paths
The event was arranged with an objective of not only connecting BU students with employers but also to provide an opportunity for students and alumni to learn about job openings, research companies and practice their interviewing and networking skills, a press release said.
Bahria University Rector Vice Admiral (R) Muhammad Shafiq HI (M) inaugurated the event.
Around 100 leading companies of telecom, services, manufacturing, non governmental organizations and banking sector participated at BU Career Expo.
The industry representatives as well as human resource experts from top corporate organizations gave an overview of the various industries' update on human resources demands, employment requirement and career prospects.
The event continued for the whole day during which the employers conducted on spot interviews and shortlisted the candidates as per their requirement.
The organizations namely National Logistics Cell, Hashoo Group, United Nations, CocaCola Beverages, Hum Media, Telenor and many others participated while a large number of current students as well alumni appeared for interviews and explored various career opportunities for themselves.
