Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Bannu (BISEB) Jehan Dad has said that solid steps are being taken to ensure transparency in examinations by checking cheating and unfair means in examinations centers across the district.
BANNU, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Dec, 2018 ) :Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary education, Bannu (BISEB) Jehan Dad has said that solid steps are being taken to ensure transparency in examinations by checking cheating and unfair means in examinations centers across the district.
Talking to media persons here on Tuesday, the board's chairman said the issue was taken up in meeting of the Board of Governors (BoG) and finalized a multi-pronged plan to curb illegal practices in examination and provide students level playing field.
As part of the plan, he said students would not be allowed to sit in examinations in their own campuses, besides creating awareness among opinion leaders including religious scholars and political representatives about transparency in examinations.
On Secondary school Certificate (HSC)-level, the chairman said the board would first declare result of annual examination of 10th class, followed by the 9th with 15 days' interval.
During Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) level annual examination, result of part-II would be announced first and after 1 part first's result would be announced 15 days later.
He reiterated that staff would not yield to any pressure and strictly implement directives of the board to conduct examinations in transparent manner across the district.
