DC Korangi Pays Surprise Visit To Examination Centres

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Korangi Shadia Jaffer on Friday said that the use of unfair means during the exams by students destroy their future
Talking to media persons, after paying surprise visit to two colleges in Korangi where Intermediate examinations were underway, she said that cheating and copying were the hurdles in success of students and those involved in use of unfair means create difficulties for them in the future.
Shadia Jaffer said that cheating in examinations was the menace for our society.
Earlier, the DC visited Government Degree Boys College, Korangi No.
6 and Government College for Women.
The students at the examination centre Government Degree Boys College complained about the power outage and non-availability of drinking water. The candidates said that non-availability of basic facilities in the examination hall in hot weather was causing difficulties for them.
A large number of students without uniform were seen attempting papers.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the students to ensure maintenance of discipline during the exams.
