First Batch Of 68 Students Of Mehran University Passes Chinese Language Training Course

The first batch of 68 students of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro passed out the first level of the training course of Chinese language on Wednesday.
The management of Mehran University organised the training course on the theme "Skills of language, writing, reading and speaking" in collaboration with Hanban University China, the university spokesman said adding that the Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Aslam Uqaili gave certificates to passed out students at a ceremony organised at the Office of the Research, Innovation and Commercialization.
Speaking on the occasion, the vice chancellor said the university was providing opportunities to its students to learn the Chinese language so that they could easily get jobs in the Chinese companies and CPEC projects.
The economy of China is dominating in the world and providing job opportunities in its projects, he said and advised the students to avail the university's effective platform of learning, writing, reading and speaking Chinese language.
He thanked to Chinese government for extending cooperation for launching such effective programmes at university level adding that registration of a large number of students proved that the youth desired to learn Chinese language.
The Director ORIC Dr Inamullah Bhatti said that out of 153 students who applied for registration in the training course, 71 were registered of them 68 appeared in the examination of the four months long first level training course. He informed that three students have clinched 200 out 200 marks while 15 students obtained 195 out of 200 marks of the examination.
