Foolproof Arrangements Finalized For SSC Exams Starting On Thursday: Commissioner Rawalpindi

Foolproof arrangements have been finalized for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual 2018 exams to start on March first (Thursday) and 123,811 students including 94, 013 would appear in the exams said Commissioner Rawalpindi Division/Chairman Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) Nadeem Aslam Chaudhary.
RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2018 ) :Foolproof arrangements have been finalized for Secondary school Certificate (SSC) annual 2018 exams to start on March first (Thursday) and 123,811 students including 94, 013 would appear in the exams said Commissioner Rawalpindi Division/Chairman Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary education (RBISE) Nadeem Aslam Chaudhary.
Talking to APP he informed that all arrangements including security arrangements have been finalized for transparent and smooth holding of SSC exams in accordance with the schedule announced earlier.
He said, Assistant Commissioners of the division have been directed to visit examination centers and make the exams transparent. The Secretary, RBISE, Dr. Muhammad Tanveer Zafar informed APP that on Mar first, the students would appear for Arabic, Health and Physical Education and other papers while last SSC paper of 'Islamiyat' would be on Mar 16.
Practical examination would be held from April 5 to May 12, he added. He said, the students have been issued roll number slips while total 374 examination centers set up in this regard. Of the total examination centers, 140 are for boys and 138 for girls while 96 combined examination centers have also been set up, he added.
The Secretary informed that 374 Superintendents, 470 Deputy Superintendents and 374 invigilators have been deployed while total 69 examination centers set up in district Attock, 82 in Chakwal, 62 in Jhelum, 95 in Rawalpindi district with 66 local exam centers set up in Rawalpindi.
The board has also deployed 362 its own security guards for all exam centers.
All out efforts would be made to eliminate 'Botti Mafia', he added. To a question he said, Section 144 has also been imposed for the examination centers and unauthorized persons would not be allowed to enter into the premises of the centers.
He further informed that the SSC exams to continue till Mar 16 while ninth exams would commence from Mar 17 and continue till April 3. The students can contact the board's control room on 051-9239191 or the controller examination telephone number 051-5450918 and 051-5450917.
He informed that special monitoring teams have been formed. A strict monitoring system would be adopted to make the exams transparent. Special teams would conduct surprise raids at the examination centers to check all arrangements and listen to the complaints of the students.
The board officers would remain in the field particularly during examination hours, he added. To a question he said, special vigilance committees comprising senior board officers and senior teachers would also monitor the exams.
Emergency Response Centers (Control Rooms) would also give quick response on complaints against 'Boti Mafia'. Roll number slips were dispatched to the students at the given address, he said adding, those not received yet can contact the board office.
Date Sheet of the exams can also be checked online, he informed. More than 3000 supervisory staff would perform duties during the exams, he added. He said, a special cell has also been set up and complaints about any examination center can be sent on fax number 051-5450912. Action on the complaints would be taken immediately, he added.
