Girls Outshine Boys In Annual Matric Result-2018

Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Faisalabad has announced result of Annual Matriculation Examination-2018 here Saturday.
FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jul, 2018 ) :board of Intermediate and Secondary education (BISE) Faisalabad has announced result of Annual Matriculation Examination-2018 here Saturday.
Announcing result in a ceremony held at BISE auditorium here, Controller Examinations Shehnaz Alvi said that total 154,972 boys and girls appeared in the examination, out of them 121,623 candidates passed the exams which showed 78.48% pass percentage.
In Science Group, total 107,287 candidates appeared and 89,982 passed the exams, showing pass percentage of 83.87%.
In General Group, total 47,685 candidates sit in the examination and 31,641 were declared successful, which showed 66.35% pass percentage.
The overall first position was clinched jointly by a boy and a girl. Rohma Ishaq Ch Roll No.408460, a student of Divisional Public school (Girls Section) Faisalabad and Muhammad Omer Roll No.482153, a student of Chenab College Jhang got 1089 marks.

408666, a student of Laboratory Girls High School University of Agriculture Faisalabad and Marwa Asghar Roll No.411651, a student of Chiniot Islamia Girls Higher Secondary School Faisal Town West Canal Road Faisalabad got 1087 marks each and stood second.
The third position was shared by three students Sameen Asif Sheikh Roll No.415312, a student of The Educators al-Ghafoor Campus (Girls) Peoples Colony No.1 Faisalabad, Manahil Fatima Roll No.420235, a student of A.W. Grammar Girls High School Jaranwala and Aysha Khalid Roll No.432937, a student of Divisional Public Girls Higher Secondary School Toba Tek Singh.
Divisional Commissioner Asif Iqbal who is also Chairman of BISE, Secretary Khuram Shahzad Aslam Qureshi, CEO Education Ch Ali Ahmed Sian, Additional Commissioner Rae Wajid Ali, Director Colleges Dr Muhammad Alam, heads of educational institutions, headmasters, teachers, parents and relative of position holder students were present in the ceremony.
