International Islamic University, Islamabad President Felicitates Chairman Senate

President, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) Saturday called on Meer Sadiq Khan Sanjrani , Chairman senate and felicitated him on being elected as Chairman of the upper house.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Mar, 2018 ) :President, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) Saturday called on Meer Sadiq Khan Sanjrani , Chairman senate and felicitated him on being elected as Chairman of the upper house.

IIUI President expressed the hope that under sagacious leadership of Meer Sadiq, the Senate of Pakistan would play a more vital role to further strengthen the democratic institutions and prayed for his success, a news release said on Thursday.

He also briefed him about IIUI and told him about the initiatives university had taken in the near future for promoting peace and tranquility. On the occasion, Former Deputy Speaker of Bahrain, Shaikh Adil Al-Muawida , Mian Mehmood , CEO, Pakistan Guarantee Export Corporation and its Senior Vice President Muhammad Hassan Kamli were also present in the meeting.

Earlier, Shaikh Adil called on IIUI Rector Dr. Masoom Yasinzai and President IIUI Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh where mutual cooperation in the field of education was discussed. Both sides agreed that there was enough room for exchange of delegation and experiences between IIUI and educational Institutions of Bahrain.

Shaikh Adil said on the occasion that Muslim world universities would have to sit on a platform together to discuss the leading issues being faced by Muslims. He assured of every possible support in this regard.

The IIUI Rector said that "Tolerant" minds nurtured in the light of real islam which is all about peace ,could solve the issues and same was the vision of the university. He told that IIUI had offered teaching human resources and education facilities to the courtiers such as Niger and Kenya where Muslims were in need of true preaching of Islam to know the true message of religion.

Dr Al-Draiweesh introduced the guests with IIUI by telling about faculties, constituent units and latest collaborations for moderation, peaceful co-existence. He said IIUI would be seen in leading ranks when it came to cooperation for promoting education and disseminating Islam's message of peace. Vice President, IIUI, Dr. Muhammad Munir was also present in the meeting.
