KP Govt Empowering, Facilitating Youth For Better Future: Mahmood Khan

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has said that the provincial government was striving to empower youth to ensure better opportunities of secured future for them.
He said the Prime Minister Imran Khan has given a vision for the bright future of the nation especially youth and the government was initiating steps to translate PM's vision into reality.
This he said while addressing at a convention arranged by Insaf Student Federation (ISF) at Nishter Hall here on Monday.
The chief minister appreciated the struggle and sacrifices rendered by ISF for introduction of vision of change in the country.
He said the provincial government was striving for providing facilities to the youth to ensure better opportunities of secured future for them.
He said that KP government was taking special strides for promotion of standard educational and skilled development opportunities.
He said 70 thousand teachers had been recruited in the province while further 65 thousand teachers will be recruited in future. The chief minister said that schools would be made accountable through introduction of education hotline.
He explained that TEVTA had been established to provide skilled manpower in the backdrop of CPEC.
The CM further said that 13 training centers had been handed over to Pakistan Air Force while youth employment digital skill program had also been introduced under Information Technology board in the province.
He informed that 40 Thousand youth had been facilitated through generating opportunities at their doorstep, adding funds for KP Impact Challenge Program had been enhanced from Rs 500 million to Rs 2 billion while talent hunt program had also been introduced in the province to search out talented youth.
He informed that Mardan sports Complex had been completed at a cost of Rs.67.69 million while Qayyum Stadium Peshawar had been upgraded at a cost of Rs. 80.58 million.
Similarly he said that 120 standard playgrounds had been established in the province while establishment of further 1000 playgrounds and indoor facilities for women were in pipeline.
The CM disclosed that playgrounds and parks would also be established in the merged tribal districts. He said that first ever youth policy was introduced in the province while youth centers had been established in seven divisional headquarters of the province.
He further said that inter provincial Youth Exchange Program, Youth adventure trips, Soft skills and Mega Challenge like programs had already been introduced in the province.
Youth were being recruited in different departments purely on merit to improve governance system. Later on the chief minister gave away awards in the office bearers to ISF, he added.
Mahmood Khan elaborated that people's confidence was restored in public sector educational institutions in the province and 40 thousand students had been enrolled in public sector educational institutions after quitting private educational organizations.
Provincial Finance Minister Taimur Saleem Jahagra, Minister for Information Shaukat Yousaf Zai, MNAs Shahid Khattak and Arbab Sher Ali, MPAsArif Ahmad Zai and Asif Khan, Insaf Student Federation Peshawar President MinaKhan and others addressed the convention.
