Lahore Board Postpones Intermediate Part-I English Paper

The paper has been postponed in view of a local holiday to observe Youm-e-Ali.
Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th May, 2019) The board of Intermediate and Secondary education (BISE) Lahore has announced to postpone the English paper to be held on Monday.
The controller examination said that the paper has been postponed in view of a local holiday to observe Youm-e-Ali.
He added that the examination centres cannot be shifted in such a short time. Therefore, Inter part-I English exam due for Monday has been postponed.
The new date to hold the exam will be announced later.
Martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (Yaum-e-Ali) will be observed here on Monday (21st of Ramzan, 1440 Hijrah) with full religious respect, enthusiasm and zeal.
Religious organizations will arrange number of meetings, seminars, sittings and workshops to mark this day on Monday (May 27, 2019).
The day will start with special prayers almost in city mosques immediately after Fajr prayer.
Religious scholars will deliver special sermons to highlight the teachings and various aspects of the life of Hazrat Ali.
Faithful will also arrange langar (free food) and Iftar dinners on this occasion to seek blessings of Allah Almighty.
The arrangements for Youm-e-Shahadat Hazrat Ali (RA) to provide security cover to the mourners of processions in the country have been finalised.
To ensure further security of the processions and gatherings held to observe Youm-e-Ali, the authorities are considering to suspend mobile phone service in Lahore.
A local holiday will be observed in Lahore on the occasion. All educational institutions will remain closed.
Meanwhile, pillion riding has also been banned in the city.
Necessary directions have been given to the officers concerned about complete checking of vehicles and motorcycles of participants, elimination of encroachments along the main procession route, road patchwork, proper electricity, medical facilities and cooperation with the district administration.
