Minister Stresses Knowledge-based Education

Provincial Minister for Literacy and Non-Formal Basic Education Punjab Raja Rashid Hafiz has stressed the need for bringing maximum children to schools.
SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Oct, 2018 ) :Provincial Minister for Literacy and Non-Formal Basic Education Punjab Raja Rashid Hafiz has stressed the need for bringing maximum children to schools.
While talking to officials of the education and literacy departments after visiting a non-formal basic education school at village Kotla Ambaanwala near Sialkot here on Friday, he stressed the need for promotion of knowledge-based education and personality building of students.
The minister appreciated the role of teachers, saying that good and dutiful teachers had ever been a precious asset of society.
He said that there could never be an alternative of a teacher in the world.
He urged teachers and parents to focus on character building of students and stressed the need for bringing change in our social attitude towards promotion of quality education for all.
The minister was informed that 7,500 students were studying in 320 non-formal basic education schools in Sialkot district.
