In the wake of ongoing dry spell, prayer for seeking rain (Namaz-e-Istisqa) was offered at International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) here on Thursday
ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 08th Feb, 2018 ) :In the wake of ongoing dry spell, prayer for seeking rain (Namaz-e-Istisqa) was offered at International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) here on Thursday.
Namaz-e-Istisqa was led by the Prof Dr Ahmed Yousif Al Draiweesh, President IIUI at new campus of the university at Jamiya Masjid, a news release said.
The prayer was also offered by Vice Presidents IIUI, Deans, Director General, faculty members and students of the university.
After the prayer, Dr Al Draiweesh addressed the participants and urged them for prayers and Taqwa. He also prayed for peace and prosperity in the country.
