OSA Organise Umra Draw Ceremony At UVAS

LAHORE (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jan, 2018 ) : The Officer Staff Association of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore conducted a draw to select one OSA member to perform Umrah. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha chaired the draw ceremony, picked and announced the Names of lucky winner while UVAS Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Rabbani, President Officer Staff Association (OSA) Zahid Hussain and a large number of OSA members were present on the occasion. According to the draw result, UVAS Newly Appointed Registrar Mr Sajjad Haider was selected for perform umra. Speaking on the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor congratulated the Umra draw winner and also lauded the initiative taken by OSA to start sacred tradition.
He advised all the employees to work hard with dedication and promote harmony for the welfare and development of the university. Meanwhile Head Institute of Clinic for Poultry & Fish Medicine Prof Dr Micheal Hess from University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna, Austria visited University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore called on Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha and held a meeting with Dr Mustafa Kammal and Dr Abdul Kareem Bhatti. Later Prof Dr Micheal Hess delivered a lecture on the topic of Fowl Adenovirus (FADV) induced diseases-a global challenges regarding poultry farming.
In which many UVAS faculty member and experts from poultry industry were attended.
