Over 35 Education Projects Completed In FATA

Federal Government with its stakeholders have launched various educational projects in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) to provide quality education to the people of the rural areas
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 05th Mar, 2018 ) :Federal Government with its stakeholders have launched various educational projects in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) to provide quality education to the people of the rural areas.
In this regard 93 projects in education sector were launched while over 35 projects had been completed so far. Talking to APP here on Monday, an official of Ministry of States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON), said that present government is spending around Rs 3.5 billion in the development of education sector.
He said that government has initiated work on 93 projects in education sector in all tribal agencies including construction of new schools, colleges and technical institutions to enhance literacy ratio in tribal areas.
Similarly, Primary, middle and high schools are being upgraded in tribal belt to provide better education facilities to tribal students. Government has already established model schools, FATA University and its campuses in each agency of FATA. FATA Secretariat set up of Monitoring and Evaluation Centre for checking the attendance of teachers and students in rural areas of FATA.
