PESHAWAR, June 6 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Jun, 2017 ) : Private Education Network (PEN) has rejected the claim of provincial government regarding enrollment of 1.5 lakh students of private educational institutions into government run schools and said that KP authorities should inform that how many out of schools children out of 2.4 million were admitted in public sector school.
Spokesman PEN, Anas Takreem criticized KP government saying that public should be informed that how many among 2.4 million out of schools children were enrolled in government schools. He said that in the province where about 2.4 million children are out of schools, the claim of KP government of enrolling 1.5 lakh children of private schools into government run schools is absurd and unfounded adding people should not be mislead by false statement.
He retorted that in existing system children of lower grade employees of government schools were having education in schools run by private sector that reflects their lack of confidence on the working of government schools.
PEN Spokesman said that government should improve its education system rather victimizing private-sector schools. He said that if private schools were given due importance and consideration they would further help improving education system in the province by enhancing their delivery.
He said that Punjab government has allocated Rs. 16 billion for the students of private schools and likewise KP government should follow the trend and help private schools to increase their performance instead of following victimizing policy.
