Provincial Ministers Livestock From KPK, Baluchistan & Punjab Visited UVAS Ravi Campus

The Minister Livestock KPK Mohibullah Khan, Minister Livestock Baluchistan Mitha Khan Kakar and Minister Livestock Punjab Sardar Husnain Bahadur Dareshak paid a visit along with UVAS Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha and Secretary Livestock & Dairy Development Department Punjab at UVAS Lahore`s Ravi Campus Pattoki
LAHORE (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News 21st February, 2019) The Minister Livestock Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Mohibullah Khan, Minister Livestock Baluchistan Mitha Khan Kakar and Minister Livestock Punjab Sardar Husnain Bahadur Dareshak paid a visit along with UVAS Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha and Secretary Livestock & Dairy Development Department Punjab at University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore`s Ravi Campus Pattoki.
They visited different departments of Ravi Campus including Akram Complex and Central Laboratory Complex (CLC) which is comprising on different laboratories including Animal Nutrition Lab, Diagnostic lab, Genetics and Genomics lab, Leather and Fiber lab, Feed chemistry lab, Meat Technology lab, Feed Hygiene and Safety lab, Sensory Evaluation lab and In-vitro Embryo production lab.
All the heads of the laboratories briefed ministers regarding the functioning, researches, semen, food & feed analysis and services for poultry, dairy and feed industries and also for livestock farm as well.
During visit ministers planted saplings in front of Akram Complex associated with their names and to showcase the infrastructure development, education and research activities of UVAS a documentary also feature on the occasion.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha briefed them on the UVAS academic research, trainings & advisory services, clinical & disease diagnostic facilities, various laboratories analysis/test and short term training programmes etc. The Ministers appreciated UVAS state-of-the-art disease diagnostic labs facilities, quality of education & research, dairy management training and providing clinical services for the benefit of poor farming community.
