RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2019 ) :Punjab Minister for Special Education Chaudary Muhammad Ikhlaq Thursday said that steps are being taken to improve the education standard of the special children.

While inspecting the Government school of Special Education and Govt Qandeel Secondary School Kohati bazaar, the Minister said that it was decided to increase the scholarship fund for special children and latest equipment including computers and lab tools had been provided to the schools.

Ikhlaq urged school administrative staff to provide a good school environment for students and teachers alike.

The minister also met with students and listened to their views on the syllabus, their aspirations and concerns.

He urged them to make the best use of their time and to benefit from the opportunities and academic choices provided to them.

Later the Minister planted a sapling in the lawn of Government Qandeel School.
