Secretary Mines Distributes Uniforms' Schools, Blankets Among 160 Miners' Children In Sorang

Provincial Secretary Mines and Mineral Zahid Aslam on Thursday said present provincial government was also taking steps to provide all facilities to mines laborers in areas, despite formulation of process was underway to overcome incident of mines in province
He expressed these views while addressing at a ceremony of distribution uniforms of school to children of miners which was organized by Mines Laborer Welfare Department and Non-Governmental organization Muslim Hands at primary school in Surang Mines area of Balochistan, said press release here.
Commissioner Mines Anwar Jan Mandokhail, Muslim Hands official Hafizullah Bareech and Fazal Ahmed, other senior official, tribal elder and students were present on the occasion.
Secretary Mines Zahid Aslam said we were trying to provide quality education and other basic life of facilities to miners' children so that these children do not feel that other citizens of children are ahead of us.
He said amenities including healthcare and education were being provided to miners in mines areas of province by Mines department, despite more efforts were underway to ensure all facilities to mines workers.
He urged miners that they should admit their children in schools for getting education so that they would be able to tackle future challenges.
Commissioner Mines Anwar Jan Mandukhail appreciated the efforts of Mines Welfare Department and Muslim Hands and said both sectors were playing vital role to provide quality of education to miners' children which was basic right of children.
He thanked the Muslim Hands and hoped that it would continue its endeavor in donating goods for needy mine workers' children.
Secretary Mines distributed goods including uniforms, blankets, sweaters, warms cloths, caps and cloves among 160 children of miners in winter season at the end of program who were students of Mines Laborer Welfare High School and Primary School Surang.
