University of Karachi receives 12,135 admission forms for bachelor, master's programmes

The University of Karachi (KU) has received as many as 12,135 admission forms for 1,767 seats of various bachelor and master's programmes, the KU Public Relations Office informed on Tuesday.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Nov, 2018 ) :The University of Karachi (KU) has received as many as 12,135 admission forms for 1,767 seats of various bachelor and master's programmes, the KU Public Relations Office informed on Tuesday.

The admission would be given on entry-test-based-results and the National Testing Service (NTS) would conduct written test on December 2. Along with the aspiring candidates of bachelor and master's programmes, Doctor of Pharmacy (both morning and evening programmes) and Doctor of Physical Therapy (morning programme), are scheduled to appear in the entry test.

The written test schedule would be uploaded on official websites of KU and NTS. The websites are www.uok.edu.pk and www.nts.org.pk respectively. The KU would also inform the candidates through Short Message Service (SMS) and electronic mail (email).

The KU would upload the link of admit cards, which would be provided by the NTS so that candidates could get printouts of their cards.

Meanwhile, the entry test of department of visual studies would be conducted at the department of political sciences at 10am, on November 25.

The Vice Chancellor, KU, Professor Dr Muhammad Ajmal Khan expressed his gratitude that candidates did not face any kind of difficulty this year while submitting their online admission forms.

"We are receiving positive feedback about the recently launched online admission system on the Campus." He said that some sort of difficulties may occur whenever new task is initiated but our topmost priority was to provide better and standard services to the candidates. "Due to this online admission system, the candidates were not bothered to stand in long queues." The KU VC believes that this system would further improve and more facilities would be provided to the candidates next year.
