University Of Sindh VC Inspects Ongoing Construction Worksites Of Campus

The Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat said significant, consistent and steady rise in student intake at SU over the last few decades have necessitated expansion of the campus to a phenomenal degree.
HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Aug, 2018 ) :The Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat said significant, consistent and steady rise in student intake at SU over the last few decades have necessitated expansion of the campus to a phenomenal degree.
He said majority buildings were constructed in the decade of 1960, in commensuration with the then available ratio of students and later, the fast-changing times mandated establishment of many a new discipline; leading towards the need to vigorous efforts to build new spaces to accommodate ever-increasing number of the teacher and the taught.
The Vice Chancellor expressed these views during his inspection visit to the ongoing construction worksites at SPAS Model school Jamshoro, Faculty of Arts building and Institute of English Language and Literature on Monday.
Dr. Burfat examined various aspects of the continuing construction projects, made apt queries from the contractors and labor engaged; and directed the Project Director to ensure opportune completion of all undertakings to avert the stakeholders any possible inconvenience on the given count.
Dr. Burfat expressed the hope that by unified and unanimous teamwork, they would be able to bring about major, desired and targeted positive changes at the varsity.
The Incharge Dean Faculty of Arts, Prof. Dr. Rafique Ahmed Memon, Member Syndicate Jamsed Ali Baloch and Incharge Faculty of Arts Building Dr. Ghulam Akbar Mahesar accompanied the Vice Chancellor during the visit.
