UVAS Holds Tree Plantation Activity To Promote Greenery At City Campus

Renowned National Poet ZahidShamsi along with Vice-President Art and Life International Society MsYasminRiaz Shahvisited the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore here on Friday

LAHORE (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Aug, 2018 ) Renowned National poet ZahidShamsi along with Vice-President Art and Life International Society MsYasminRiaz Shahvisited the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore here on Friday.

In connection with Independence Day celebration of Pakistan to promote greenery and a healthy environment contribute to green Pakistan.

ZahidShamsi andMsYasminRiaz Shah along with UVAS Senior Tutor Prof Dr Kamran Ashrafplanted number of saplings associated with the Names of Founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Thinker of Pakistan DrAllama Muhammad Iqbal and Mother of Nation Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah at City Campus Lahore.

During visit they donated number of books related to poetry and literature to UVAS Central library.On the occasionProf Dr Kamran Ashraf thanked them for their visit at UVAS while Associate Prof DrNisar Ahmad, DrHaroon Akbar and Dr Muhammad Oneeb were also present.
