274 Dengue Cases Reported From Peshawar

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Sep, 2021 ) :Amid efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, nowadays, was also facing the brunt of dengue virus that was showing its presence in 19 districts including the provincial metropolis.
According to the KP Health Department here on Wednesday, 274 cases of dengue virus were confirmed from Peshawar the other day.
It said a total of 39 patients were under treatment at Hayatabad Medical Complex and Khyber Teaching Hospital where elaborate treatment facilities were being provided to them.
The district local government was taking steps to contain the spread of dengue larva by launching fumigation drives at various parts of the provincial metropolis.
