KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2019 ) :About 550,000 children below five-year age would be administered polio vaccine scheduled to be started formally from April 22-26 here.

DC Ishfaq Ahmad initially inaugurated campaign today at DHQ hospital after administering polio drop to a child.

Health department has fixed duty of mobile and transit teams in order to successfully launch the campaign in given time period.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by CEO health Dr Shoeb Iqbal, DDHO Dr Asif, MS Dr Sumera among health officers and large number of children, parents.

DC said on the occasion no child should get deprived of polio vaccination. He appealed parents to save their children through polio drops.
