A two week anti measles campaign has been kick off in the district here on Monday.
SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Oct, 2018 ) :A two week anti measles campaign has been kick off in the district here on Monday.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sukkur, Ghulam Murtaza Shaikh inaugurated the campaign at a ceremony at Ghulam Muhammad Mahar Medical College Hospital here.
As many as 3,61,709 children between six months and seven years of age will be vaccinated against measles during the 13-day on going anti-measles campaign.
Speaking on the occasion, DC said that the children are the future of our nation.
He warned officials that negligence in this regard would not be tolerated.
He urged parents to cooperate with the officials of the health department and allow the health teams to inoculate their children.
