Anti-polio Drive From Jan 21 In Multan

The 3-day anti-polio drive will commence from January 21, Monday across the district, during which over 800,000 children under five years of age would be administered polio vaccine
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jan, 2019 ) :The 3-day anti-polio drive will commence from January 21, Monday across the district, during which over 800,000 children under five years of age would be administered polio vaccine.
Deputy Commissioner Mudassir Riaz Malik inaugurated the polio drive at Shahbaz Sharif hospital here on Saturday.
He said that strict action would be taken against those who refused to administer drops to their kids during the three days drive.
He said that security of health teams would be ensured.
Chief Executive Officer Health Dr Munawar Abbas said that 2195 teams had been constituted for polio drive.
He said that camps would be set up at all public places during the three days anti polio drive which would continueby January 23.
